ANTs– Automatic negative thoughts can ruin your life just like they can ruin a picnic.
Are your thoughts helpful or unhelpful?
Are they getting you closer to where you want to go or further away?
Are they motivating you or are they blocking you with fear and self doubt?
You can deliberately choose your thoughts by:
- Notice the unhelpful thought.
- Thank it for being there (Don’t resist. Whatever you resist persists).
- Deliberately choose a helpful thought that would serve you better.
- Keep practicing this technique. (persistence = progress)
